Copy Trading
Auto-copy trades from the top traders directly into your MT5 account — no need to watch charts all day.

Find a Trader
Browse the leaderboard or signal room to find a profitable trader.
- Go to Leaderboard to see top traders by win rate and profit factor
- Check their profile for performance stats and trade history
- Click Follow to track their signals
Filter for traders with win rate > 55% and profit factor > 1.3 for a positive statistical edge.

Configure Copy Settings
Choose how to size your positions when copying trades.
- Fixed Lot: Use the same lot size for every trade (e.g., 0.01)
- % of Account: Auto-calculate lot based on risk % (max 10%)
- Fixed Lot — easy to control, good for beginners (e.g. 0.01 lot)
- % of Account — auto-calculates lot based on SL, equal risk per trade
- % of Trader's Lot — your lot always stays a fixed % of the trader's own lot size
- Click "Start Copying" to receive your unique token

Get Your Copy Token
After subscribing, you'll receive a unique token.
- Copy the token — it looks like ct_abc12345
- Keep it safe — anyone with this token can copy to your account
- Token is a cuid, e.g.: cmnvefxa4000004l8sww5hzyx
Anyone with this token can activate the EA to copy into your MT5 account. Do not share it.

Install the EA in MT5
Download and install the Copy Trading Expert Advisor.
- Download SocialForexCopyTrade.mq5 from this page
- Copy it to MQL5/Experts/ folder in your MT5 data directory
- Restart MT5 or refresh Navigator panel
Folder path: File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts
Add URL to whitelist: Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → Allow WebRequest for listed URL

Configure and Attach the EA to a Chart
Drag the EA from Navigator onto any chart, paste your token and adjust parameters.
- Navigator → Expert Advisors → SocialForexCopyTrade → drag onto chart
- Paste your token into the CopyToken field
- Set AllowAutoTrade = true so the EA places real trades
- Click OK to start the EA

Enable Algo Trading and Monitor
The EA polls every 10 seconds and opens trades automatically when a new signal appears.
- Click the Algo Trading button on the MT5 toolbar (▶ green icon) — must be re-enabled every time you open MT5
- The EA prints logs in the Journal tab in MT5 — monitor there
- Every copied trade has the comment "SocialForex Copy" for easy identification
There are 2 separate switches: (1) the checkbox in Tools → Options → Expert Advisors is a permanent global setting, (2) the Algo Trading toolbar button is a per-session toggle — must be turned on every time you restart MT5. If the Journal shows Retcode=10027, the toolbar button is OFF.
